Support Groups

While feelings of depression and anxiety are not inevitable consequences of vision loss, they are quite common and they are treatable.

In addition to individual and family psychotherapy services, we offer support groups for people with a visual impairment to share their feelings and experiences with others facing the same challenges.

The support groups are based in Dublin and Cork.

If you are interested in attending any of these meetings, please contact us for further information at 01 674 6496 or insight@fightingblindness.ie

“As part of the service, I was also encouraged to join a Therapy Group and a Support Group, of others like myself. This has allowed me to see beyond myself, appreciate what others are going through and use my talents to help them. Through these meetings we have built up a network of friends with whom I can meet regularly.” Gerry Kerr from Co. Dublin.
