Another Great Year At The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon!

Another beautiful June bank holiday has come and gone, and with it, one of the most exciting events of the fundraising calendar. The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon never fails to bring a buzz to the streets of Dublin, and this year, Team Fighting Blindness lit up the 10k route with electric orange.

The 2014 race saw 51 women from 14 different counties don their runners and bright new shirts in order to raise funds and awareness for Fighting Blindness. It was great to meet so many of you at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) for a snack and a chat before and after the event.

Thank you to everyone who has lodged and posted funds so far. If you haven’t sent back your sponsorship yet please note that we have moved offices and our new address is Fighting Blindness, 3rd Floor, 7 Ely Place, Dublin 2.

Thank you all again, we look forward to welcoming you all back again next year!
