Heartfelt thanks to Helen Murphy (below left) for sharing her personal story of sight loss for our annual Christmas letter, and with the Sunday Independent – helping raise national awareness of the issue of low vision in Ireland.
Many thanks also to Angela Ginnell who raised much needed funds by recruiting over 50 friends and family (below centre) to take part in the Cork Mini Marathon recently! Angela also kindly shared her personal story with the Evening Echo to raise awareness of Fighting Blindness in Cork.
Huge thanks to Kelly McCarthy (below right) who rallied the team at Veritas Technologies to hold a Jeans for Genes Day for Fighting Blindness! Kelly and her wonderful colleagues at Veritas are also organising a Christmas Jumper Day to raise much needed funds and awareness.
